What is a pigeon tour?
Pigeon tours are walking tours, featuring pigeons!
We domesticated pigeons thousands of years ago, and brought them to our cities. About 60 years ago, we abandoned them and started hating them. On this tour, you’ll learn why and how that happened, and how our future can — hopefully — be different.
If you’re looking for something to do in Philly that’s little unusual, you’ll be right at home on a pigeon tour.
Do I have to already like pigeons?
Not at all! But be advised — you may leave the tour with different feelings.
Do I have to be a birder?
No, these tours are for everyone! We provide loaner binoculars and teach basic birdwatching skills at the beginning of each tour.
